Should I ask for my annual review in this bad economy?

At my job, employees usually get an annual review—right on time. This year, I didn't, and it has 2 months past my anniversary without any word. I would like my review, and a raise would be nice. The company seems to be doing well, but I do not know if other coworkers have had their review. I am going to walk into my bosses office and request for one soon. Should I be wary of the bad economy when I do? I am one of the top producers in the department, and am ready to know what I could be doing better.
