I'm interested in a career in animation, what colleges should I look into?

You definitely need to go to an art school. It's tough to say which one since I don't know where you live or what your situation is. I know that Chicago Art Institute has a really good reputation. You have to be really picky in choosing an art school because the school you go to will depend heavily on what kind of job you get. Make sure they have programs to help you find employment after you graduate. And your grades will still be important but you need to put together a portfolio of your artwork. They'll want to see that you are artistic and you'll also need your portfolio to apply for scholarships.
