Why is Dirk stallin the Mavericks?

He will resign with the Mavs definitely, its all about signing a bigger contract for security. That's why a lot of players are opting out of their contracts, ie Paul Pierce, Richard Jefferson, Amar'e, etc. They all want to sign longer contracts for guaranteed money. Pierce and Dirk will no doubt resign with their respective teams. They are all just taking their time. Theres no rush right now anyways.
