Our car was vandalised by two 16 year olds who were bullying my son?

The day I reported the bullying incident to the school and the police, these two kids wanted revenge & scratched up the paint, broke off a mirror, tore the spare tire cover to bits, and bent the ariel. did about �2500 in damage. They were properly arrested by the police and taken to jail. They confessed the whole thing and signed written statements. I refuse to pay for damage they caused, and insist my car get repaired for all damage done. What is the best way to go about getting this accomplised?
