Can I make a compensation claim?

it sounds like you have already agreed to a form of compensation....the full refund. if you had not agreed to accept that form of compensation then perhaps......small claims court or....but if you have agreed to the full refund then poof!! be glad the company your dealing with is honouring their end of the deal....many underhanded companies would try to Wiesel out of that as well.
