Anxiety about labor with second child?

I am having really bad anxiety about having my second child. I am 24 weeks pregnant now and every time I go in for a check up I freak out. My blood pressure is sky high and my heart races. I had a really difficult labor with my first child and I am not sure how to handle this. After I leave the doctor I am fine! Not to mention I hate needles and pain medicine. I wasn't this way when I had my first child and I think because I had the worst labor experience ever I am freaking out now! It's the anticipation that kills me. Any suggestions or books I can read to help prepare myself? I am afraid I am going to have a full out panic attack when I have my second child.
